Denise A. Ireland, 68, of Scottdale, died Thursday, February 8, 2024 in Forbes Hospital, Monroeville. She was born June 7, 1955 in Jacksonville, FL, a daughter of Clement H. “Chuck” Muellerleile of Mt. Pleasant and the late Margaret M. (Hirn) Muellerleile. Denise was a nurse at several nursing homes and hospitals and previously was an EMT with Priority One in North Versailles. She loved to shop, enjoyed sports and the Steelers. In addition to her father, she is survived by 2 sons, Jason T. Rice and wife Laurie of Connellsville and Joseph E. Rice of Somerset, 5 grandchildren, Jacob, Ethan, Alyssa, Ashley and Maddy, 2 sisters, Deborah Lori and husband John of Somerset and Donna Constantine of Hunker, her brother, David Muellerleile and wife Leslie of Mt. Pleasant and numerous nieces and nephews. Private visitation will be held at LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2072 Route 130, Pleasant Unity.
