Gary G. Dee

Gary G. Dee, 76, of Greensburg, died Wednesday, April 3, 2024, in his home. He was born July 13, 1947, in Syracuse, NY, a son of the late Victor R. and Ridgely “Sue” (Merritt) Dee.  Prior to retirement Gary had worked for Master-Lee Energy Services, Latrobe. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Greensburg. Gary loved Greensburg Salem and Mt. Lebanon athletics, was dedicated to his family and his grandchildren’s sporting and academic events.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Cynthia H. “Cindy” (Havaran) Dee; and his in-laws, John and Rose Fenili Havaran. He is survived by his three sons, Eric Dee (Tawnya), Christopher Dee (Stacy), and Jonathan Dee (Mary); three grandchildren, Grayson, Beckham, and Sophia Dee; two step grandchildren, J.D. and Madison Durbin; three brothers, Billy Dee, Bobby Dee, and Christopher Lodes; two sisters, Vicki Keene and Lisa Hughes; and several nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received from 9 AM to 12 PM Saturday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg.  A funeral service will be held at 12 PM Saturday in the funeral home with the Rev. Kevin Haley officiating. Interment will follow in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont. Special thanks to Jonathan for taking care of him and the nurses and staff from Bridges Hospice.
