MaryAnn (Marnell) DiPadova

MaryAnn M. DiPadova, 88, of Delmont, passed away Wednesday, August 27, 2025.  She was born on November 23, 1936, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late James and Philomena (Perfetta) Marnell.  She was the loving wife of the late Amil A. DiPadova who passed away November 8, 2023.  He was the love of her life.  Prior to retirement, MaryAnn had 35 years of service at Bell Telephone Company as a personal assistant.  She was a member of St. John Baptist de La Salle Catholic Church in Delmont and was a strong supporter of Saint Vincent Seminary.  MaryAnn loved spending time with her family and friends.  She especially cherished time spent with her grandchildren. 

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Paulin; her brother, James D. Marnell; and her step-son, James A. DiPadova.  She is survived by her step-daughter, Ann Dipadova Thomas (Bob); three granddaughters, Lindsy Thomas Bartoleit (Michael), Katie Slezak (Joel), and Dana Radic (Cameron); eight great-grandchildren, Holden, Drew, Henry, Josie, Ben, Annie, Archer, and Lucy; her sister, Dianne Swinger; nephew, Edward Paulin (Kathy); nieces, Trish Fiore (Rusty), and Susan Schubert (late Bill); great nephew, Nash Paulin; great great nephew, Lincoln Paulin; and her feline faithful companion, Marco. 

There will be no public visitation. Family and friends are invited to a funeral mass to be celebrated Thursday at 10 AM in Saint Vincent Basilica, Latrobe.  Please go directly to the church.  Entombment will follow at Saint Vincent Cemetery.  LEO M.
